To give you a brief understanding of the products we produce, here is a look at the infrastructure of Polyformalin Private Limited. We have two units, located in Kochi, Kerala.

The Poonithura Factory is located at Petta Junction, Poonithura. This unit houses the latest technology-based formaldehyde plant as well as the semi-automated reactors for manufacturing of different grades of Amino resins, Phenolic resins and Hardners.

It has 1 weigh bridge of 50 MT capacity which is positioned at the entrance, to allow access to the public as well.

The Puthencruz Factory is at Manamthadam overlooking NH85 at Puthencruz. The plant is of the latest technology and manufactures formaldehyde mainly for our clients from the plywood industry.

The Amino Resin UF T Grade and MUF Resin are manufactured in the special semi-automated reactors. Puthencruz also houses our test reactor for research and quality control purposes.

This unit also has a 40 MT weighbridge at the entrance.

Well-equipped laboratory with various analytical instruments and computer for data. Raw material analysis and product quality control.

  • Digital Brookfield viscometer
  • Muffle furnace capacity up to 1000 Degree Celsius
  • Digital temperature indicating hot air oven
  • Magnetic stirrer and digital pH meter for determining the free formaldehyde content in product.
  • Digital temperature indicator and controller assembled Melting point apparatus.
  • For precise weighing the electronic chemical balance of least count 0.0001 gram. (For determining non-volatile residues)
  • Distillation apparatus with distillation head, for determining free phenol in the final product.
  • Refractometer for determining the refractive index of various liquid resins.
  • Automatic burettes for volumetric analysis.

Our research begins with sampling and characterization starting at laboratory bench scale. From the labs, the development of the process is done on a smaller scale at our pilot plant which has capacity of 60 litres volume. Once the new product passes the quality control testing at our labs, we are confident of producing it for our customers on a full scale.
